Coal India Limited has been awarded the role of Preferred Bidder for the Gadadharpur Iron Ore Block, located in Kendujhar district of Odisha, through a domestic auction. The mining lease agreement includes a premium payment of 114.05% of the value of mineral dispatched to the Government of Odisha, with a one-year timeframe to become a successful bidder and a three-year period for execution of the mining lease deed. The G3 exploration stage block holds a total resource of 288 MT, and the company confirmed that no promoter, promoter group, or group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction.
